The dosage is normally one litre of tincture added to ten thousand litres of drinking water (1:10 000).

Water consumption depends on multiple variables and cumulative factors. However, the estimated average costs shown below are based on the following generic formula with respect to water consumption.

Based on a 14-hour light day, 10,000 layers will consume:

2385 litre/day (21.1^o C) High level of production     

1627.6 litre/day (10^o C) Low level of production

Therefore, using a simple average of 2000l/day [200ml/b/d] costs/14-hr light day are estimated as follows:
