History : Poultry Protector - Red mite, Flea and Lice Remedy

The primary developer of Poultry Protector has a special interest in wild plants and herbs. Four years ago he developed a fast and safe cure, derived from wild plants and trees, for a range of stomach ulcers. This product treats stomach ulcers without the use of antibiotics. The product is endorsed by medical doctors and sold primarily in North America.

Three years ago, while hunting on his farm, he observed that certain large, wild antelopes did not have any ticks while other similar species, living in the same area, would have an abundance of ticks. He observed the animals over a period of months and also discussed the phenomenon with local indigenous healers.

It was found that the tick free animals frequently ate small quantities of the tips of leaves of specific succulent plants, which due to the position and distance of the leaves above ground, were only accessible to that species of antelope. In effect the consumed plants reduced or eliminated the feeding of the ticks and thereby eliminated the population of ticks on an animal.

The leaves were used to create various forms of decoctions or concentrate which he fed to domestic animals on his farm. Over a period of time he found that the leaves plus a number of other natural seeds and leaves when mixed with the drinking water of chickens eliminated their fleas.

Other combinations proved to be good for domestic dogs and cats. The results also improved when the concentrates were homoeopathically potentised. Over a period of time he gave these preparations to friends, neighbouring farmers and vets who were all very pleased with the results, which led to the development of the current formula.

It must be stressed that the remedy is not a homoeopathic product.  It is a concentrate of natural plant ingredients, which has been homoeopathically potentised. In essence it is a tea. It has been safely drunk by the developer and his co-developer.

There is an abundance of wild plants and trees in Southern Africa which have been used for centuries by the indigenous people and the early white settlers because of their medicinal properties.
