Ingredients:

Poultry Protector is derived from a unique combination of the roots, stems,
bark, leaves and the seeds of wild plants only found in South Africa.

Storage: Room temperature below 25 degrees C, preferably in a dark place.

Shelf life and stability: All finished tinctures are put on stability for various periods in two stability chambers (25 and 40 degrees C.) to determine the expiry period which is normally 5 years. The expiry period on the purchased product is 2 years from date of purchase.

Increased Egg Production

A side-effect of the remedy is the extension of the egg laying period. Normally, egg production is reduced after the age of 70 weeks. In a UK trial, some hens carried on laying eggs until 85-90 weeks while others carried on laying eggs until 120 weeks old.

The supposition is that because the hens are not constantly drained and irritated by blood suckers they become ‘calmer’ and more comfortable. Also, a pigeon breeder who used the remedy reported that his pigeons won more races than usual (after using the remedy) because he felt they were ‘happier’.
